For previous agency clients, I have secured placements on BBC, Newsweek, i paper and The Scotsman, as well as a wide range of regional press.

    I work with clients to identify the most effective angles to pitch, craft engaging press releases with SEO-friendly headlines and get the attention of the right journalists.

    I provide long-form content writing and copywriting, working with your own established content pillars or helping you to develop your brand’s style.

    Having developed tone of voice both in-house as a journalist and across multiple clients agency-side, I create compelling written content. I translate complex ideas into accessible and engaging copy suitable for a range of B2B audiences.

    I write a wide range of content including web copy, social media posts, press releases, blogs, white papers, both earned and paid media features, ghostwritten thought leadership pieces at C-suite level, podcast scripts and more.

    Journalism & Editorial

    I offer freelance journalism and editorial services on both an ad-hoc basis and covering newsdesk shifts, telling the stories your audience want to know.

    My time at a prominent B2B news platform gave me experience of writing several articles daily and working to tight deadlines. I have also written a number of long-form op-ed pieces and have experience interviewing a range of high-profile business leaders.

    I have also managed correspondents and freelancers in my role as editor, providing support to early-stage journalists, as well as overseeing all content and monitoring traffic and engagement.

    Training & Workshops

    I provide bespoke PR and content training and facilitation of creative writing workshops for agencies, small businesses and community groups.

    With experience of creating and delivering bespoke training programmes and facilitating workshops within an agency setting, I collaborate with leaders to identify pain points before working with teams on key elements of PR and content.

    I deliver training and workshops on crafting press releases, media relations, interviewing techniques, effective research and creative writing.
